Guinavah Amphitheater Summer Program 2003

The Logan Forest Reserve Centennial Lecture and Discussion Series continues at the Guinavah Amphitheater, located about five miles up Logan Canyon in the Guinavah- Malibu Campground.

Escape the city heat at this historic amphitheater built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930’s and relax while reflecting on the history and culture of the Cache National Forest. Programs will be held first and third Thursday Evenings of June, July and August at 6:30 P.M. and are free of charge.

June 19th’s program, Cowboy Poetry: at Home on the Range, will feature Cowboy Poet Larry Slade and the Bridgerland Back Country Horsemen who will provide tips on how to interact with horses on the trail and low impact packing ideas.

Parking is limited so carpooling is encouraged.

Other upcoming programs include: Whiskey or Water; the beginnings of the Cache National Forest July 3rd, Old Ephraim; a Legend Unveiled July 17th, Building to Protect; Architectural History of the Cache National Forest August 7th, and History Class was Never Like this; Utah’s Heritage Tourism August 21st.
