Future judge said McCain takes her student vote
Andrea Cranney, sophomore, political science
From Stockton, Utah
What is your greatest fear?
Andrea Cranney: I guess somebody breaking into my house would probably it, while I was there.
US: What did you want to be when you grew up?
AC: An astronaut. I just want to go into space. I always wanted to walk in space, I didn’t want to be in spaceship or anything.
US: What do you want to do now?
AC: I want to be a lawyer, a judge actually. I’m going to go to law school. I grew up and realized I couldn’t just walk in space. It’s not that interesting anymore. It still is, but not. Politics comes easier to me, too.
US: Would you rather die by drowning or die by fire?
AC: I would say drowning because you could just suck in the water faster. And it would be really hot to be burned alive.
US: If you could have any superpower, what would you choose?
AC: I would like to read peoples’ minds, just as I’m walking along, “Hey, what are they thinking about,” you know? That would be really cool. I would maybe help fight crime or something.
US: If you could be any cartoon character, who would you be?
AC: I would be Cinderella because she gets to dance with the prince at a ball. She gets a Prince Charming.
US: What music do you own that you are ashamed of now?
AC: I have some Britney Spears albums.
US: What TV shows can you not live without?
AC: I don’t watch TV much anymore, but I like “Friends” a lot.
US: What activities did you do when you were in junior high?
AC: I did band. Played the saxophone for like a year and a half. My sister quit, so I quit. I didn’t like it that much, though.
US: If you could change one thing about USU, what would it be?
AC: I kind of think that the administration and Registrar’s Office are really rude. I think I would change their attitudes to be more helpful.
US: If you could be on nuclear submarine with any three people, past or present, who would you choose?
AC: I would choose my twin sister Alicia and my roommates Blair and Becky. We have fun together. We’re really good friends.
US: What would you do if the nuclear submarine started to melt down?
AC: Panic maybe. I don’t know, anybody would panic if a nuclear submarine melted down.
US: Because you’re identical twins with Alicia, do you ever use that to mess around with people?
AC: No, not yet. We want to some day. We’re really alike but we have different personalities, so once you get to know us, it’s hard to (not tell us apart).
US: What would be your dream vacation?
AC: I would say probably going to the Bahamas.
US: What was your most embarrassing moment?
AC: I walked into the bathroom on this guy one time, and that was pretty embarrassing.
US: Who’s your role model?
AC: My oldest sister Amanda. She is amazing. She’s like Martha Stewart. She’s just a really good mother and wife, I think.
US: If Hollywood were to make a movie of your life, who would play the main characters?
AC: Me, would be Amanda Bynes. Would play my sister too.
Amanda (older sister) would be Julia Roberts.
Nemesis would be Alan Rickman
(Andrea’s) romance figure would be Chad Michael Murray.
(Alicia’s) romance figure would be Shia Leboeuf. He’s a good actor.
US: Who do you think you’ll vote for as president?
AC: I’ll have to go with McCain. Obama would be good I suppose, but I agree with McCain more on stuff.
