POLICE BLOTTER: Nov 11 to Nov 17

Friday, Nov. 11

 

USU Police responded to Old Main Hill for an emergency phone alarm. Police were unable to locate anyone in need of assistance and are looking into surveillance videos for identification of the individual(s) who may have activated the alarm as a joke.

 

Saturday, Nov. 12

 

•  USU Police cited and released one female for minor in possession of alcohol after police were called to Valley View Tower for a report of several individuals drinking. Police confiscated the alcohol since it was found and consumed on campus.

 

USU Police responded to the Riverside Trailhead where four USU students were in custody of a Cache County Sheriff deputy who stopped them for suspicious activity. The deputy released the individuals and USU Police took the individuals’ information to give to the Student Code Office.

 

Sunday, Nov. 13

 

USU Police assisted the Logan City Police in looking for a suicidal juvenile in the area of Lundstrom Hall. The individual was located at a friend’s home in good condition.

 

Monday, Nov. 14

 

USU Police responded to an elevator alarm at Valley View Tower. Police found an individual stuck inside the elevator. The individual was released from the elevator. 

 

Tuesday, Nov. 15

 

USU Police responded to Rich Hall on a report that a student’s ex-boyfriend wouldn’t leave the complainant’s residence. The individual was banned from the area.

 

USU Police responded to a suspicious activity incident at the Merrill-Cazier Library. An individual reported her property missing and the property showed back up after a short time

 

Wenesday, Nov. 16

 

USU Police responded to the Fieldhouse on a report of two men arguing on the basketball court over a possible theft. The situation was resolved shortly after police arrived.

 

Thursday, Nov. 17

 

USU Police responded to a suspicious vehicle at the Mountain View Tower soccer field. Upon arrival police discovered that the vehicle had permission to be on the field and they were setting up for a paint ball competition to be held the next morning.
