•CNR Student Council Thanksgiving Drive. Nov. 11 through Nov. 25. Bring any non-perishable items and money donations to the College of Natural Resource building. There are donation jars and boxes located in the atrium. Perishable items that you would like to donate, contact Kyle Peterson kylea@cc.usu.edu. All donations will be going to local families and individuals.

•S.T.A.R. (Students Teaching Arithmetic and Reading) is having a Spring Appreciation/Orientation Day Nov. 20, 5:30 to 7 p.m. TSC, Room 335. FREE Tommie’s Donuts will be served.

• Institute Women’s Association Holiday Fireside, November 20, 7 p.m. Logan Tabernacle Everyone invited

•Flu shots will be given December 4 by Student Health Services, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Juniper Lounge.

•Project Amigo will be accepting donations to help children in Mexico and other third world countries. Money, school supplies, clothes, canned goods and personal hygiene products are needed. Collections in TSC Nov. 21 & 22.

•USU Tri-Council for Gender programs sponsoring USU Women’s Issues in the HERI 2001 Faculty survey. Presenter Dr. Grayson Osborne Nov. 21, noon, TSC, Center Colony room. No-host luncheon and conversation, dessert provided.

*Spanish Club hosting Latin Night at Club Skyline. Nov. 21, Doors open 9:00 p.m. for great mustic and free pizza.

• The USU Middle Eastern Dance Club will host a dance workshop and performance Nov. 23, 12-4 p.m. HPER building, show at 7:30 p.m. Caine Lyric Theatre. Sara at 797-4016.

•National Conference on Undergraduate Research: March 13 through 15 at the University of Utah. Deadline for abstract submission is Nov. 15. •Stuff a Bus for Sub for Santa, sponsored by USU Parking office. Drop in your spare change to buy toys for kids. Watch for collection containers on shuttle buses. Dec. 2 through 6.

•Winter clothing drive, Dec. 2 through 6. Bins located in Ag. Science building. Children’s winter clothing wanted and winter clothing accepted. Items will be donated to local charities.

*CAPS Match Nov. 23, 9:00 a.m. Cache Valley Hunter Education Center three miles west of Logan on Highway 30. The match will be free to any shooter who has never shot with us before. The match will consist of 6 stages and a total of approximately 150 rounds of ammunition. Minimum caliber is 9 mm Luger. A new shooter orientation class is required for all new shooters and will begin at 7:45 a.m. and join the match at 9:00 a.m. Eye and ear protection are required and spectators are welcome. Match fees are; $12.00 for club members and $17.00 for non-members. Rain or shine test your skills.

•USU Marriage & Family Therapy Clinic provides individual, marital, and family therapy. Therapy is individualized to meet the unique needs and situations of clients. Therapy is provided by graduate students completing their master’s degrees under supervision of clinical faculty on a sliding fee scale basis. Info. or an appointment 797-7430. Appointments are available during both day and evening hours.
