LETTER: Refrain from filthy material

Editor,

I agree wholeheartedly with the letter writer when she says comics should not be printed by The Statesman. In fact, I think all forms of media should not allow the printing of inappropriate and filthy material. I think it is stupid that the Constitution says we have freedom of speech. I think that if a society is conservative by majority, only conservative material should be printed in a newspaper that is based at a public institution of higher learning. I believe the same rule applies for those in liberal societies. There should be no room for individuals expressing themselves how they want; they may offend people like me. Penis.
