March 22, 2002 Utah State University campus police received a report of alcohol use in Mountain View Tower. One individual was arrested for minor in possession of alcohol.

Campus police responded to a complaint of an unattended animal in a vehicle. The animal was checked on and was found to be OK. No further action was taken.

Campus police responded to the smell of smoke in Old Main. The smell was caused by burnt food in a garbage can. The food was removed from the building. No further action was taken.

Campus police assisted the North Park Police Department with a traffic accident on 1450 North and 800 East. There were no injuries reported and damage to both vehicles was estimated at $1,500.

Campus police received a report of a burglary which occurred in the Student Health Center. Investigation is continuing.

March 23, 2002 While on a traffic stop, campus police cited and released an individual for minor in possession of alcohol by consumption.

Campus police responded to Aggie Village on a report of two lost girls. Police were able to locate the family and return the girls to them.

March 24, 2002

Campus police confiscated a weapon from an individual in Mountain View Tower due to the Housing policy regarding weapons.

March 25, 2002 Campus police responded to The Junction to assist with an employee problem. The matter is currently under police investigation.

Campus police responded to Valley View Tower on a report of an individual not wanting to leave. The individual was contacted by police and left the building. No further action was taken.

Campus police responded to Richards Hall about a complaint of alcohol use in a room. Police identified the subjects as being of legal age. The alcohol was removed from the apartment and Housing was notified. No further action was taken by police.

March 26, 2002 A faculty member reported that over a period of several months, someone has entered his office several times after he left for the evening. Campus police are investigating.

Campus police received a report of individuals throwing water balloons from a vehicle. It was reported that a pedestrian and a vehicle were hit by the balloons. The individuals were located and were cited for criminal mischief.

Campus police responded to a report of two skateboarders doing tricks near the Taggart Student Center. One individual was warned of the university’s policy concerning skateboarding and the other individual’s skateboard was impounded for failure to follow prior warnings.

March 27, 2002 Campus police and Logan City paramedics responded to a report of an individual with breathing trouble. The individual was transported to Logan Regional Hospital for evaluation.

March 28, 2002 An individual who was found in possession of a stolen parking permit became irate when Parking Personnel impounded his vehicle. Campus police responded and assisted with the incident.

Campus police responded to a report of a fight in progress in an Aggie Village parking lot. One individual was arrested and taken to jail.
