Oct. 03

USU Campus Police responded to the Children’s House for a theft report of two small radios. The radios are Audiovox Talkabouts and are blue in color.

Campus police received a report of a black Diamondback bicycle stolen from the bike rack north of Old Main. Police are investigating.

Campus police responded to the Junction for a report of students smoking a water pipe. Three students were charged with minor in possession of tobacco.

Oct. 04

A student called campus police to report the theft of a cellular phone.

Oct. 06

Campus police responded to Old Main Hill on the report of a stray dog in the area. The dog was reported to be brown in color and had tags, but had left the area and could not be located.

Campus police responded to the Chase Fine Arts Center on a report of an ongoing problem with someone tearing materials down from one of the bulletin boards. Police are investigating.

Oct. 07

Campus police received a report of a stolen parking permit. The vehicle was parked in the A4 parking lot at the time of the theft. The permit was stolen between 10:50 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 6. Police are investigating the matter.

Campus police received a report of harassing telephone calls and are currently investigating the matter.

Campus police responded to the Fieldhouse bus turnaround for the report of a violation of the skateboard policy. The subject was issued a citation for giving false information to a police officer.

Oct. 08

Campus police received a report of a stolen handicap parking permit taken from the C7 parking lot on Oct. 7. Police are investigating the incident.

Campus police received a delayed report of a traffic accident in the B Premium Lot. Police are investigating.

Campus police are investigating a suspicious incident that took place outside of Old Main. No further details are available at this time.

Campus police and emergency medical personnel responded to the football training field on a report of an injured football player. The victim complained of neck pain after an exercise. Medical personnel transported the victim to the hospital for medical evaluation.

Oct. 09

Police received a report of a sex assault that occurred on campus. The incident is currently under investigation.

Campus police responded to a trespassing complaint and a number of individuals were warned for running across private property.

An individual called campus police to report a suspicious incident involving the possibility of identity theft. Police are investigating.
