Second straight in Seattle

Balanced offense and solid rebounding spurred the Utah State men’s basketball team to its second straight victory Saturday in a 68-46 win over Seattle University on the road.

Jarred Shaw led four Aggies in double figures with Spencer Butterfield scoring 13, TeNale Roland scoring 12 and Marcel Davis adding 11.

USU out-rebounded Seattle 44-25 on the night and shot 47 percent from the field en route to the win.

Utah State improved to 16-5 overall and 7-4 in the WAC while Seattle fell to 7-14 and 2-9 in conference play.

The Aggies conclude their three-game road trip with a trip to San Jose State on Saturday, Feb. 8 at 8 p.m.
