BLOTTER: Police news from the campus and community

March 21, 2003 Police responded to Valley View Tower on a report that one male individual let another male into the building, and they were wandering around like they didn’t belong.

March 22, 2003 Police received a report of a trespass in progress at the Military Science Building. A male individual was attempting to enter through a second-floor window.

March 24, 2003 Police received a report of an individual making an illegal left-hand turn. Police are investigating.

Police responded to the east side of Old Main, where there was a report of a male subject sitting and sounding like he was crying.

Police responded to the Science and Technology Library on a complaint that some subjects were throwing water balloons. The incident is under investigation. Logan police received a report that there is a woman who talks on the phone all night long. She talks loud enough the people in the next apartment can hear her, and it keeps them awake.

March 25, 2003 Police responded to the Student Living Center on a report of an individual shooting a paintball gun out of a window. The individuals were located and arrested for criminal mischief.

An individual called police about a suspicious incident at Old Main. Police found no problems, and the individual received an escort home.

Logan police received a call that one roommate threatened to stab the other roommates sometime last night.

A man reported to Logan police that he thinks his neighbors moved out in the middle of the night and stole the tools out of his garage.

March 26, 2003 USU police responded to a report of a cow in the roadway. Two young cows were outside their pens.

March 27, 2003 An individual reported to police that his backpack was stolen from in front of the bookstore.

March 28, 2003 Logan police received a call from an individual stating his garbage can was stolen in November of 2001.

Police received a call from an individual stating there are juvenile males in the road, holding a man-sized dummy, causing the cars to swerve.

A caller told Logan police that the people next door to his home are walking in and out of their yard, putting things in the garbage.
