A Women’s Perspective
Editor,
I know that this has been a big news story for you. And my apologies to David for us continually bringing this up. I thought you might like a women’s take on this. I agree with the letters that have been sent to you in the reprimand of Mr. Kotynek. What kills me is that he professes that he is a “psychology major” that he believes in “treatment and recovery” yet in the same breath he is dishing out condemnation, stating that somebody like that shouldn’t get a second chance. What do you Mr. Kotynek believe “treatment and recovery” is for? I believe from the definitions of those words is that who ever is receiving treatment and recovery is trying to get over something for a second chance at life. How can you, just a nobody like me, tell us that we shouldn’t give someone a second chance? Who are you to judge? Have you ever done anything wrong? If not, please tell us your secret we would love to know. I do not condone what he did, especially as a woman, but obviously you do not know him. Cause if you did you would know that he is an amazing guy! He doesn’t deserve your condemnation or anyone else’s, what he deserves is our love and respect in overcoming trials in his life to become a better person. Which is all any of us can hope for. I wish David all the best, and continued success, in life and on the court!
