December 10, Holiday Lunch at noon: Come and celebrate the holidays with your friends at Common Ground. There will be lunch and entertainment and we will be exchanging white elephant gifts.* Ten Thousand Villages season store, 146 N. 100 East, Come support fair trading and global artisans.* Registrations for the winter session of ice skating and hockey classes. The six week Learn-to-Skate and Hockey 101 programs are for all ages, all abilities. Classes start the first week of January. Cost is $35 for the six week session with lessons once a week, skate rental is included. Register at Eccles Ice Center. Holiday gift certificates for skating lessons or punch passes are also available. Learn-to-Skate classes are held on Tuesday or Thursday afternoons and now offering Saturday classes. Tuesday morning classes are also available for pre-school or home schooled students. Hockey 101 classes are held on Saturday afternoons. * Adult Co-ed Hockey League is also accepting registrations for the new season beginning January 8.
