Sophomore Emmett White had an incredible game Saturday against Wyoming.

White has rushed for 100-yards eight times in his career and two times this season.

White recorded his 16th career touchdown in the first quarter Saturday off a 48-yard run, the longest run of his career.

White’s 274 rushing yards on the night marked his second-best single game effort in his career. The only times he rushed more yards was last season against New Mexico State with 322 yards and Arkansas State with 202 yards.

It all but went unnoticed Saturday.

“He had an outstanding game,” coach Mick Dennehy said. “There’s no question about it.”

It was still a loss for the Aggies though, taking away the glory of a hard effort by White.

“There’s not much you can take away from [the loss],” White said. “It is still going to go down as a loss even though it was played as a decent game.”

White is only 121 yards from placing seventh on the career rushing list.
