The Office of Study Abroad has moved! New location 118 Military Science: First floor-enter in the door on the southside of the building just north of the TSC. Learn more about semester exchanges, short-term faculty-led programs, study in English, or build language skills.Semester exchange programs are based on USU tuition costs.  Most scholarships and financial aid apply. 435-797-0601.

 

Housing & Residence Life Office has moved Come see us at our new location 1125 North 1000 East, which is located at the north end of the parking lot directly east of Romney Stadium and west of Aggie Village.

A wedding planning event with vendors of every kind that can help with all aspects of your special event on Saturday, Sept 17th. Admission is free and parking is available in the terrace. Thousands of Dollars in prizes will be given away. Fashions shows will be at noon and 2:30 PM.  Come anytime from 10:00 AM to 5 PM. 

 

he 17th Annual Leonard J. Arrington Mormon History Lecture will feature Dr. Richard V. Francaviglia presenting a lecture titled ‘Like the Hajis of Meccah and Jerusalem’ Orientalism and the Mormon Experience, 1820-1970. The lecture is September 15, 2011, in the Logan Tabernacle, 50 North Main, at 7 p.m.

 

National Stream Clean-up Day unites volunteers across the nation in efforts to care for local streams and waterways. On Sept 17th meet at 9 a.m. at First Dam Park to remove litter from high-use areas of the Logan River. Bring friends! Give something back to the river! Your help is needed! 

 

Are you interested in the health occupations as a career? Students hoping to apply to medical, dental, pharmacy, PA, Physical Therapy, Optometry, Podiatry, etc. must plan carefully and be involved in extracurricular activities throughout their undergraduate years. This Orientation on Sept 19th and 20th will discuss how to begin this process.

Former United States Senator (Utah) and astronaut Jake Garn will be speaking on the Constitution and answering questions in the HUB of the Taggart Student Center on Sept 16th. Come grab something to eat, pick up a free pocket constitution and learn more about the United States Constitution from former Senator Garn.

September 16 Two of the most amazing female singer/guitarists in Cache Valley will perform from 6 to 8pm at Pier 49 San Francisco Style Sourdough Pizza.  Keiyana Osmond will perform first, followed by Cherish Ross.  Take an evening to come and enjoy these talented musical artists; you won’t be disappointed!  Everyone is invited.

 

September 17 Acoustic oldies group Relic will perform live from 6:00 to 8:00pm at Pier 49 San Francisco Style Sourdough Pizza.  This is a great sounding group!   Many people in the valley have heard The Fender Benders classic rock band.  Relic is the “light” version of that band, featuring Irv Nelson, Scott Olsen, and Steve Roberts “unplugged.”   Preview them at relicacousticband.com.  Come enjoy great pizza and music.
