LETTER: What’s a little falling snow?
Editor,
Recently, I parked in the lot east of the Parking Terrace, heading to the Taggart Student Center. After waiting about 10 minutes for a spot (that’s a totally different issue), I started toward the safe sidewalk. Very quickly I noticed the sidewalk is closed. The sign says the closure is due to dangerous falling snow.
Because the sidewalk is blocked, it leads people into a more dangerous path – the small, busy, crowded parking lot. This is a much more dangerous place, considering most rushed and annoyed drivers don’t exactly look before turning a corner. I can’t believe USU is leading it’s students and faculty around a sidewalk into a more dangerous path. Who cares about a little snow on your head? It is winter.
