LETTER: Lets’ limit True Aggie night

During his State of the Union address, President Bush proposed an amendment to the Constitution that would ban same-sex marriages. I feel that Utah State University needs to do its part to help legislate morality.

I propose a policy to prevent same-sex “True Aggies.” The institution of True Aggie is an important part of the student experience here at USU and allowing same-sex couples to become True Aggies threatens the sanctity of that institution. With A-day coming soon, any policy against same-sex True-Aggies needs to be implemented quickly.
