Roomies from Hell, Real Life Sories:
By The Bookless WonderAnonymous reader
During my freshman year, me and one of my roommates just didn’t get along. Fortunately, we didn’t share a room. She lived down the hall, but I could still hear her when she got in fights with her mom on the phone.
One night she was so loud, none of us – myself and my other roommates included – could concentrate on studying. After she had stormed out of the apartment, we decided that we needed to talk to her about it, not in a mean way, but just let her know there was a problem we needed to work out.
So when she came back to the apartment, we all congregated in the front room and very casually started talking to her and brought up our problem with her in a very roundabout way. Unfortunately, she immediately got defensive and started yelling at us. After a yelling match, she stormed out of the room with her pillow and slept in the lobby that night.
The next night, her parents paid for her to stay in a hotel. Since she was going to be gone, she gave her key to some boys she knew and had them come and trash our apartment at four in the morning.
To top it all off, I had let her borrow my book for a class we had together so she could study for the test. She wouldn’t give me my book back so I couldn’t study.
