UDOT Slates Open House for Logan Canyon Bridge Project
The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) will hold a public open house to discuss construction issues pertaining to its U.S. 89 Logan Canyon bridge replacement project. The project will replace three U.S. 89 bridges at the following locations: mouth of Logan Canyon in Logan (including construction of a new pedestrian underpass), the Stokes Nature Center trail head and Right Hand Fork. All three bridges will be replaced with new structures that meet current design and safety standards.

UDOT and contractor personnel will be on hand to answer questions regarding construction schedules, locations, phasing, traffic restrictions, right-of-way issues, etc. The meeting will be in an open house format and the public may attend anytime between 5-7 p.m.
Ralph L. Wadsworth Construction Company of Draper is the general contractor for the $6 million project. Preliminary construction work will begin during the week of July 11. Project completion is anticipated by Fall 2006.
