OLD LYRIC REPERTORY COMPANY PRESENTS UNIQUE THEATRE EXPERIENCE
A night of fine food, entertainment and fun is planned by the Old Lyric Repertory Company in its first ever OLRC Benefit Gala. The company welcomes anyone interested in a night out with friends for the benefit that features a different type of entertainment, said OLRC Public Relations Marketing Director Jeremy Gordon.
Site of the gala is Hamilton’s Steak and Seafood, 2427 North Main, North Logan, Monday, July 18, at 7:30 p.m.
“For many patrons, it is enough to see the actors on stage, and read about the designers and directors in the program,” Gordon said. “Then there are the theatre patrons who want to delve deeper into what makes up the process, whether it’s acting in four different roles or what thought goes into designing a set. The benefit gala gives those patrons a chance to do that.”
Those supporting the OLRC through the gala get to meet and mingle with company members, enjoy great food and atmosphere and enjoy a more spontaneous type of entertainment, Gordon continued.
The Benefit Gala includes a catered dinner at Hamilton’s Steak and Seafood, a cabaret-style performance by OLRC actors, a question and answer session with directors and designers, mingling with the company and a ticket to another OLRC production. Reservations are $50 per ticket and can be made by calling (435) 797-1500 or email gordonj@hass.usu.edu. Seating for the event is limited, and early reservations are recommended.
