LETTER: Time, money appreciated

On behalf of the sisters of the Chi Omega fraternity, I would like to thank the many supporters of our first 3-on-3 basketball tournament “Make A Swish for Make-A-Wish” held Saturday, April 23 at the Logan Recreation Center. We were able to raise more than $300 to give to Make-A-Wish Foundation and hope, as the years continue, we will be able to raise even more.

We are very grateful to the Aggie basketball players David Pak, Marques Crane and John Neil who selflessly took time out of their busy schedules to be the referees. It was also John Neil’s birthday and he was more than happy to help. They truly are champions, not only in the Big West Conference, but as members of our community.

Much thanks also needs to be given to the many businesses throughout the community that donated services and/or money. Without their donation we would not have been successful. Also thank you to the teams who participated.

We are very lucky to be a part of a community that is so generous and willing to participate in various service events. Thank you again for your continued love and support.
