Oct. 18, 2002

USU Police assisted Logan City Police and medical personnel at an off-campus residence. An individual called Logan Dispatch and reported his roommate had possibly overdosed on narcotics or alcohol. The individual was taken by ambulance to Logan Regional Hospital.

Oct. 19, 2002

During the Homecoming football game, USU Police received information that a fan was tearing up part of the wood bleachers. Further investigation found most of the damage was weather-related, and there was no intent to purposely cause damage.

USU Police investigated a report of an extremely intoxicated individual in Mountain View Tower. The subject was located, arrested for public intoxication and booked into the Cache County Jail.

Oct. 20, 2002

A Mountain View Tower resident called USU Police to report finding a marijuana leaf on the fifth floor drinking fountain. Police picked the leaf up to be stored as evidence.

Oct. 21, 2002

A student reported that a past acquaintance had violated a stalking injunction over the weekend. This event happened out of town and will be reported to the police in that jurisdiction. USU Police have been made aware of the injunction and will arrest the suspect if he violates it again on campus.

Oct. 22, 2002

USU Police responded to a report of a car theft at Aggie Village. Further investigation found that the vehicle had been repossessed.

USU Police responded to the University Inn for a theft report. A canister full of candy was reported stolen. The investigation is continuing.

Oct. 23, 2002

USU Police arrested an individual for giving false alarm. The individual was observed pushing the emergency phone at Valley View Tower and leaving the area. The offense is a class B misdemeanor with a mandatory court appearance.

Oct. 24, 2002

Logan Police received a report of a wheelchair heading south on Main Street in the middle of the road.
