– “Dating 101” panel discussion. Taggart Student Center, Stevenson Ballroom, 2:30 p.m.

– Proposals for URCO Grants must be in the Provost’s Office by noon today.

– Read-in of literary works representing black history. Taggart Student Center Sunburst Lounge, 11 am. – 1:30 p.m.

EVENTS:

•Come join the Racquetball Club. Its fun and anyone can join. People from beginners to advance. The club meets every Tuesday and Thursday from 7:30 – 9:30 p.m.

•Snowshoe with the USU Outdoor Recreation Center Monday, February 13.  Meet at the ORC at 8 p.m., then carpool to site.  Trip is free, bring your own snowshoes or rent in advance.  Call the ORC with questions, 797-3264.

•Utah State Theatre presents “Picasso at the Lapin Agile,” February 15 – 18 at the Caine Lyric Theatre, 7:30 p.m. Tickets available at ticket office or call 797 – 1500. Students free with valid ID.

•Show your commitment to PEACE at the weekly peace vigil. Every Friday 4:30-6 p.m. Come and go as you please. East side of Main between center & 100 N. Give peace a chance.

•Black Student Union hosts Black History Week. Feb. 9-10 & 13, 1st floor TSC selling candy grams for Valentine’s day. Feb. 13: free hot chocolate, Taggart patio 9 a.m. Feb. 15th: Read-In novels, quotes, and other literary works representing black history. 11-1:30 TSC Sunburst lounge. Feb. 16th: forum related to Black issues at USU, sample food Soul Food Dinner. Feb 17th: Soul Food Dinner/Dance. TSC Ballroom from 6:30 p.m.. – 12 a.m. Tickets for dinner/dance $10 or $2 for dance only.

•URCO Research Grant Proposals are due at Noon on February 15. May be submitted electronically to Vice Provost Kinkead at Joyce.Kinkead@usu.edu or hand-delivered to Old Main 142.

•The National Student Exchange (NSE) is a program for undergraduate exchange within the United States and Canada.  Applications are now accepted for the upcoming academic year with a deadline of March 1.  Interested students can receive more information in TSC 305.  phone 797-1132
