Letter to the Editor: Reader grateful ‘Barbie’ cartoon was censored

Dear Editor,

I am so grateful to the censorship over this Wednesday’s lingerie ad. I was so thrilled to see that the BARBIE CARTOON was covered up! I was so offended!

Give me a break, these people who are throwing fits about this ad are ridiculous! If you don’t want to see it overt your eyes! How bad must your mind be to let it wander into unwanted territory over a CARTOON! Give me a break!

There is nothing wrong with a doll that used to be painted on airplanes of our troops back in WWII, to be used to show off lingerie. Would all those people rather have a real girl like the ads in Salt Lake City? Take your pick. If it really bothers you, your mind is a lot worse then most.
