• Beyond Abuse, Pathways to Healing, Oct. 22, 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. TSC Sunburst lounge, A two-part session. The program covers therapy techniques for healing from sexual abuse and other trauma.

•Victimized by violence and abuse? Discover the power of healing through writing. Two-part workshop Oct. 22, 7 to 9 p.m. with Star Coubrooke. Preregistration required. 797-1728.

•”The Scream” hosted by the Young Single Adult association (YSA) October 26, Dance, with live local DJ, 50-person twister board, games, food, and the movie “Wait Until Dark” with Audrey Hepburn. The Aztec Building, 1295 N. 800 East, Logan 8 to 11:30 p.m. $3 with costume, $4 without (modest costumes)

•Shirt designing sessions for the Clothesline project may be arranged at the Women’s Center, 797-1728. Davy or evening appointments available Oct. 14 through 25. Clothesline project is a visual display of shirts designed by women survivors of violence, their families or friends.
