•Black Student Union hosts Black History Week. Feb. 9th, 10th, and 13th: table on 1st floor of the TSC selling candy grams for Valentine’s day. Feb. 13th: free hot chocolate, Taggart patio starting 9 a.m. Feb. 15th: Read-In novels, quotes, and other literary works representing black history.11-1:30 in TSC Sunburst lounge. Feb. 16th: forum related to Black issues at USU, also sample food for our Soul Food Dinner. Feb 17th: Soul Food Dinner and Dance. TSC Ballroom from 6:30p.m. – 12 a.m. Tickets for dinner are $10 and include dance, or $2 for just the dance. There will also be a slide show presentation and performances.

•STC Career Panel: Wednesday, Feb. 22, 6 p.m. University Inn Rooms 507 & 508. Come explore careers in professional and technical writing.

•Residence Hall Association will host a showing of the Aggie basketball game against Louisiana Tech in the Sunburst Lounge on February 4th at 3 pm. Free Snacks and drinks.

•Free nutrition classes, Aggie Village Extension classroom in the Aggie Village office. Wednesdays from 2:30 to 3:30 pm from now until April 12

•The USU Outdoor Recreation Center is offering a beginner Skate Skiing class at 9 am, Saturday, February 11.  Cost is $10, or $5 for USU students.  Sign up by February 10 at the ORC, or call for more info, 797-3264.

•Women artists are invited to submit artwork to the Alliance for the Varied Arts in celebration of National Women’s History Month in March. Media accepted includes drawing, painting, collage, printmaking, ceramics, sculpture, photography and fiber art. The theme is “Windows.” Deadline for entries is February 25.
