Friday, April 6

• Two individuals were seen drinking beer on the HPER Field. Both suspects left the area before the police arrived.

• Police responded to Student Health Services on the report of a forged drug prescription.

Saturday, April 7

• Police resceived a report of the theft of a VCR from an apartment in Valley View Tower.

• Police responded to the Jones Education building on a continuous 911 hang up. It was discovered that a fax machine was trying to dial a number in a foreign country that began with the numbers “911.” Two other 911 hang-up calls were made on this day, although it was determined in each of these cases that the persons had misdialed.

Sunday, April 8

• Police warned and released one skateboarder and three individuals with stunt bicycles in the parking terrace about USU policy. Two other skateboarding incidents were also reported this week.

Monday, April 9

• Police responded to Morgan Hall when a bottle of diet pills had been replaced with a different diet drug.• Police responded to a fire alarm at the Agriculture Systems and Technology Education building. An individual started a tractor in the building, which triggered a smoke detector.

Wednesday, April 11

• USU Police received a report of suspicious activity at the Vet Science Research Farm involving injuries to three ewes.

• An individual in Morgan Hall reported that someone let the air out of his car tire.

• Police warned two solicitors selling cleaning products in the Trailer Court.Thursday, April 12

• Police responded to Mountain View Tower on a noise complaint. An individual was warned about knocking on other people’s doors late at night.

• Police responded to a traffic accident at 1100 E. 700 North that was caused when a vehicle attempted to make a U-turn and struck another vehicle. Total amount of damage was estimated at $1,500.

• Police received a report of a suspicious telephone call made to a resident of Valley View Tower. The caller stated that he was from the electric company and asked the complainant for personal information including her address.Friday, April 6
