Egg Hunt: For the Birds

Egg Hunt: For the BirdsDear Editor: We are writing this letter as a public service announcement to our fellow students. Be advised that if you dare to traverse Old Main Hill proceed with caution and we suggest you wear closed toed shoes and carry an umbrella. No, it’s not for those traditional April showers, but rather for the showers of falling seagull bombs as a result of the scathingly brilliant idea someone had to have a real Easter egg hunt this weekend on Old Main Hill. You many be thinking that the hunt sounds like harmless fun for Logan’s little tikes, however, the students of Utah State are the ones paying for it. As if the rotting remains of hard boiled eggs littering the Hill weren’t bad enough, the infestation of seagulls attracted to them and their waste we are forced to dodge on our way to school calls for serious intervention from the administration. We call on those in authority to do something about this heinous health hazard. In the meantime, perhaps a short-term release on the ban of seagull hunting should take affect. Sincerely, Kim Frost and Theresa Foxley
