* Religion in Life: Elder W. Eugene Hansen, former member of the Presidency of the Seventy & former student body president at USU. April 13, 12:30 p.m. in the Institute.
* 29th Annual Last Lecture April 15, 12:30 p.m. TSC Ballroom. Dr. William Furlong, a Professor in the Department of Political Science was chosen by USU Honors students to give what for him would be his last lecture to students and his faculty peers. “Academic Freedom & Political Correctness: Teaching Controversial Topics Constructively.”
* Plant Science Department Floral Design Class annual “Blooming Arts Exhibition”. Art interpretations done in floral design on display in the Dale and Adele Young Teaching Greenhouse on the corner of 800 East and 1400 North on April 16, 4:00- 6:30 p.m. Students, faculty, and the public are welcome. Free parking is available immediately south of the greenhouse.

* USU Housing presents Mike Giamellero, an ultra experienced kayaker. Slide show presentation “Three Waters Project” TSC Auditorium, April 22, 7:30 p.m. The show will last about 1.5 hr. and is free.
* ORC is going to Labyrinth Canyon on the Green RiverRegistration April 26. The cost is $100, which includes food, transportation, canoe, paddle, life vest, and other group equipment. Call the ORC, 797-3264.

* The deadline for the Lyon, Maas, Mueggler Outdoor Leadership Scholarship extended to June 1. This $750 scholarship is awarded each year to an undergraduate student with demonstrated commitment to outdoor leadership. Pick up an application guideline from the USU Outdoor Recreation Center, or call 797-3264.
