New ticket manager named for Athletics

Stephanie Plueard has joined the Utah State Athletics Department as an assistant athletics director for ticket operations it was recently announced by senior associate athletics director Jana Doggett. Plueard officially began her duties at USU on May 28.

Plueard (pronounced Plu-erd) comes to Utah State following a four-year stint at the University of Oregon where she served as a ticket office intern (2003-04), ticket office coordinator (2004-05), and assistant director of ticket sales and operations (2005-07).

“I am very excited about the opportunity to work for Utah State University and be associated with the Western Athletic Conference,” said Plueard. “I am looking forward to the new responsibilities associated with the position and anxious for the start of the new academic year.”

Plueard is a native of Springfield, Ore., and graduated from Eastern Oregon University in 2003 with bachelor’s degrees in business administration, and physical education and health. During her time at EOU, she spent three years in the athletics department as a student assistant to the athletics director.

“We are thrilled to have Stephanie join the Aggie family,” said Doggett. She will bring some new ideas to the department and her experience will only benefit Utah State Athletics.”

Plueard replaces Jeff Crosbie who is now the athletic department’s business manager after spending five years in the ticket office, including three as the ticket manager.
