Freeman King, Bobby Giles, and Jerry Wilding will present on educational options and cultural nuances within the Deaf Community. •The Mountain West Center for Regional Studies is accepting applications for their Faculty Fellowship. This fellowship is designed to support and recognize an individual faculty member or faculty team in the Humanities, Arts, or Social Sciences for the completion of a pedagogic, scholarly or creative project that will expand our understanding or appreciation of the American Mountain West. •Infancy Childhood, and Adolescence Conference The 2001 Infancy, Childhood and Adolescence Conference May 14 USU ECC. Five nationally recognized scholars will be on-hand to discuss topics from development of temperament and emotion in infancy to the effects of domestic violence on children who witness domestic assaults. •”Sights and Sounds of Nepal” a slide show presentation at March 26, 7 p.m. Whittier Center Gym – 290 N. 400 East, Logan. $3 Donation suggested. All proceeds benefit Common Ground Outdoor Adventures, a non-profit, providing adaptive recreation for people with disabilities.
