• Spring Break rental special. Keep it for 10 days, pay the weekend rate. Pick up equipment Friday, March 9 and return it all on Monday, March 19. Call the ORC 797-3264 for more information. Rafts and yurts excluded.

• ASUSU is now accepting applications for the 2007-2008 appointed positions. These positions are: Administrative Assistant, Public Relations Director, Activities Director, Arts and Lectures Director, Traditions Director. • The Ullr Chase, a 40-kilometer Freestyle Nordic Ski Race, takes place Saturday, March 10. Race begins at 8 a.m. at Franklin Basin, and finishes near Beaver Creek. For registration info, call 797-3264, or visit www.usu.edu/camprec/ullr .

• Looking for something to do for Spring Break? Experience sea kayaking at Labyrinth Canyon March 14-17. Cost $150 which includes transportation and kayak rental. Mandatory pre-trip meeting March 8, 4:30 p.m. Sign up at the ORC or call 797-3264.

• Team Success is presenting a concert of Kalai and the Hand Band at the Kent Concert Hall March 21, 7 p.m. Tickets are available in the USU Ticket Office, $8 for students and $10 for the public. Tickets will be $12 at the door.

• Passport Fair. Wednesday, March 21, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. TSC next to the USU Post Office. Bring your proof of U.S. citizenship, photo ID, check or money order. You can complete the passport application in advance online at http://travel.state.gov/passport.

• Blue Bikes is offering free road certification (bikers & motorists welcome) on March 24 and 31. Taught by Bob Bayne, class will run from 1-6 p.m. on both Saturdays and will be held at Aggie Blue Bikes located between the Fieldhouse and Military Science Building. • Nordic United is sponsoring the third cross-country ski race in the Bridgerland Citizens Race Series this Saturday, March 10, Sink Hollow groomed ski trails near Beaver Mountain. • SCORE is sponsoring a two-day workshop on How to Set Up and Operate a Small Business. • Handel’s “Messiah”: A multicultural benefit concert presented in English, American Sign Language, and Spanish. March 23- 24, Ellen Eccles Theater, Logan and March 30, Peery’s Egyptian Theater, Ogden. Concerts begin at 7 p.m. Proceeds support USU student humanitarian healthcare mission to Mexico.

• The George S. Eccles Ice Center in North Logan will be hosting its 4th annual Spice on Ice: Best of Cache Valley dinner and benefit auction on Thursday, March 29, 5:30 p.m. Prices are $50 per person.
