Playing in its second-straight home match, the Utah State volleyball team dropped its first WAC match of the season in straight sets to Idaho on Saturday at the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum.

The Aggies struggled against the Vandal block and managed to hit just .096 on the night, compared to .352 for the Vandals.

Senior outside hitter Shay Sorensen led Utah State with eight kills, but USU was unable to overcome a strong offensive performance by Idaho. Allison Walker was the only player to finish with double-digit kills with 11.

The loss drops the Aggies to 8-5 overall and 3-1 in WAC play. Idaho improved to 4-10 overall, and 2-2 in the WAC.
