Gymnastics team wraps up season
Five Aggie gymnasts competed in the NCAA North Central Regional Championships at Iowa’s Carver-Hawkeye Arena at Iowa City, Iowa, Saturday.
Jackie Dillon led the Aggies and finished tied 18th on the vault with a 9.800.
Nicki Felley tied for 30th on the floor with a 9.700. Felley finished 38th on the vault with a 9.500, 41st on the bars with an 8.900 and 36th on the beam with 9.400.
Lindsie Boone finished 21st in the all around with a 36.725. Boone tied for 32nd on the beam with a 9.525, tied for 41st on the vault with a 9.325, 37th on the bars 9.250 and 41st on the floor with an 8.625.
Erica Huelsmann finished 22nd on the floor with a 9.775, while Nicole Simoneau finished 38th on the bars with a 9.175.
Jessica Lopez from the University of Denver finished first in the individual all around with a 39.600. Florida’s Corey Hartung finished second with a 39.525. Florida finished first in the team regional with a 196.775, and UCLA came in second with a 196.625.
