LETTER: Republicans deserve respect

In response to the behavior shown to the College Republicans by the majority of the opposition on Wednesday’s rally, I found the behavior of the opposition to be completely inappropriate for USU students. Specifically, unplugging the microphone three times and cussing is inexcusable. We do not treat people in this manner.

I don’t care what was being said, when five police officers are required to make sure that your group does not get out of hand, you are out of line. Anyone who unplugged the microphones or cussed at Tom or Beckie owes them and USU a public apology.
