LETTER: Thanks to volunteers

Editor,

The Viddles and Fiddlers event that was held at the Whittier Community Center on Jan. 25 was a great success. Approximately 300 people attended this fund-raiser. The proceeds will go toward improvement on the center, which is on the Historical Registry. The four bands that played at the event were Leaping Lulu, Faultline, Sassafrass and Tumbleweed. They did a fantastic job.

In order to organize an event like this, it takes a lot of volunteers. It could not be done without them. In alphabetical order, they were:

All of the cooks, servers and bus people, Bridger Folk Music Society and all four bands, Cache Valley Bee Keepers, Cache Valley Ice, Caffè Ibis, Coca-Cola, Common Ground, Culinary Concepts, Dan’s Dutch Ovens, Firehouse Pizzeria, Fred Meyer, Girl Scouts, Health for Life, Hispanic Center, Logan Country Club, Logan High Key Club, the media that provided advertising: all radio stations, the Herald Journal, Crosstalk, the Valley Channel, USU radio and The Statesman, Royal Bakery, Saigon restaurant, senior citizens, Society of Creative Anachronism, Society of Friends, Tutoring Center, USU Success organization, Wal-Mart, The White Owl, and last but certainly not least, our patrons that paid to attend and anyone else I may have left off.
