Baseball club looks to extend winning streak; Utah State riding sweep of Broncos
Coming off three lopsided wins over Boise State last weekend, the Utah State baseball club team is looking for more magic against Weber State Friday and Saturday.
“We’re really going to have to play our best to do well with them,” team member Derek DeGraaff said.
The teams will face off in a double header Friday at 4 p.m. with another on Saturday starting at 1 p.m. in Providence.
Last weekend, the Aggies were able to win the first game 9-0, the second 20-10 and the third 11-9. DeGraaff said Broc Neagle was instrumental in the team’s final win.
With two home runs, he was able to put the Aggies over the top.
“We actually put the bat on the ball,” DeGraaff said. “We were hitting well this weekend. Every weekend we play we get a little bit tighter defense and we do a little better.”
