– “Invisible Children.” Film screening. Documentary on children affected by war in northern Uganda. TSC Auditorium, noon.

April 21

– A-Day True Aggie night, midnight on the ‘A’ by Old Main.

– A-Day-on-the-Quad. Bands, booths, food, games and more. 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.

– Jon Schmidt Concert. 7:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m., Kent Concert Hall. Tickets $5 for students, $9 for others.

– USU Public Folklore Students present, Before You Were Here: Early Stories of Cache Valley. 6 -8 p.m. free, TSC Walnut room.

• Please donate your discarded useable cell phones to the Women’s Center, TSC Room 315, during April. The phones will be redistributed, at no charge, to individuals who may need constant access to 911. For more info, 797-1728.

• USU Interior Design department Senior Exhibit April 10 – 21, Twain Tippetts Gallery in the Chase Fine Arts Center. Free. Mon-Fri 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

• Snag a sorority girl. BBQ and date auction Thursday, April 20, 6 p.m. $3/person on the Kappa Delta Sorority patio. Everyone welcome.

• Tickets for the Blue Carpet Ball are on sale in the card or ticket office. Tickets will be $12 (per couple) pre-sale and $15 at the door. Saturday, April 22, 8:30 p.m. – midnight.

• Special Olympics North Area Track and Field. April 29th. Opening Ceremonies at 9:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. Games held in the USU Outdoor Stadium (in case of rain, please go to USU Fieldhouse). Volunteers are needed — Please check in at 7:30 AM on day of event for job description & training or just come “fill in” whenever you can!

• The National Society of Collegiate Scholars is hosting an ethics lecture. Wednesday, April 19 from 12:30-1:30 in the TSC auditorium. The lecture includes five guest panelists who will address topics such as business ethics, forensics, fraud and will then be open for questions and discussion. Refreshments will be served.

• April 23, 6-9 p.m., St. Aquinas Social Hall, 795 N. 800 E. “Homemade Indian Dinner” $5, Heena tattoo $3-10, indian clothes and jewelry $1-$30. Fundraiser for helping children in India and across the globe. $15 educates a child for a year.
