Groundbreaking set for Romney Stadium project

VCBO Architecture, a local architecture firm, in association with the Bauer Group, are designing new facilities at Utah State University Romney Stadium. A ground breaking ceremony for the new Athletics Facility will be held on site July 7th.

The project consists of upgrading the existing stadium last improved in 1969. The second phase, of a four phase project, includes the following:

· Home and Visitor Locker Rooms · Equipment Issue Area · Coaches Offices · Team Meeting Areas · Sports Medicine (training and treatment for all USU athletes)

The projects architect, Derek Payne, AIA stated that, “This series of projects at Romney Stadium will give Utah State University Athletics an advantage over their competitors by providing state-of-the-art facilities for training and athletic activities.”
