Utah’s Player Of The Year Signs With Utah State Volleyball

Hailey Jeppson, who was named Utah’s 5A Player of the Yearthis past season, has signed a national letter of intent to play volleyballat Utah State it was announced by Aggie head coach Grayson DuBose onTuesday.

Jeppson, a 6-0 outside hitter at Pleasant Grove High School, earned 5AMost Valuable Player honors from both the Deseret Morning News and Salt LakeTribune in 2005. Jeppson, who also earned first-team all-state honors as asenior, lead Pleasant Grove to the state championship in 2005 and was namedthe tournament MVP.

“Hailey is a great volleyball player that will help us immediately andbe able to compete with the elite teams in our league,” said DuBose. “Shehas played volleyball at a high level for a long time and will bring savvyand experience to our program Hailey has been fortunate to play for greatcoaches and we are excited that she decided to become an Aggie.”

Jeppson also earned first-team all-state honors as a junior for headcoach Mike Daniels, and second-team all-state honors as a freshman andsophomore. During her career at Pleasant Grove, Jeppson set school recordsin both kills and service aces. She is also a member of the SummitVolleyball Club under head coach Jeremiah Larsen.
