Terri Hendrix set for Logan Concert

Terri Hendrix – “The Spiritual Kind”LIVE @ Bridger Folk Music Society Concert SeriesSaturday, July 26 * 7 pm Eccles Conference Center Auditorium * Utah State University * Logan, UT

Terri Hendrix’s ninth and latest album, reveals her constant evolution of spirit and art and brings to light her raw talent in its most natural form. Hendrix often takes her listener on a philosophical spin. Through her music, she bares heart and soul, asks questions that get the mind rolling, and always fearlessly speaks her mind. Hendrix is especially drawn to individuals and issues that often go overlooked by society, something made quite evident on her 2007 album, The Spiritual Kind. Produced by long-time friend and mentor Lloyd Maines, stylistically, it’s typically – by Terri standards – all over the map, jumping deftly from folk to pop to blues to swinging jazz with the anything goes, free-range eclecticism of her live shows.

Last year, Terri found herself both on the cover and featured in the latest issue of Texas Music Magazine and all over the radio airwaves; making a home at the #1 spot for several weeks on the Roots Music Report and the last quarter of the year on the Americana chart.

Through Terri’s website alone, close to 10,000 copies of “The Spiritual Kind” were sold. At a time when record companies are floundering, Hendrix’s DIY efforts are continuing to pay off musically and professionally.
