Melissa Lyn Shook-Timothy Kelly Bennett

David and Lynette Shook of West Valley City, Utah, announce the marriage of their daughter Melissa Lyn Shook to Timothy Kelly Bennett, son of Kelly and Diane Bennett of Logan.

The couple was married Aug. 1, 2006, in the Logan LDS Temple. A reception was held that evening at the Shook residence, 4758 Harbor Street, West Valley City. An open house was held Aug. 2, at the Bennett residence, 776 W. 1000 South, Logan. It was great to all our Friends and relatives there!

The bride graduated from Hunter High School in 2003, where she participated on the drill team. She is a senior at Utah State University, majoring in early childhood education.The groom graduated from Logan High School in 2000, where he participated on the basketball, baseball and football teams. He served in the Florida Ft. Lauderdale LDS Mission from 2001 to 2003. He graduated from USU in 2006 with a BA in political science and is pursuing a master’s degree in political science at USU.

The couple will reside in Logan while finishing their schooling.
