LETTER: USU cares about grass, too

To the editor:

Jon Cox’s recent article on the differences between BYU and USU troubles me. Let me first say that I love being an Aggie and would not consider attending the Provo Zoo for several reasons, and that their ridiculous excuse for a campus newspaper is one of those reasons.

That being said, I would like to call Mr. Cox’s attention to the lawn just north of the entrance to our campus Library where grounds keepers have fenced off access and put up signs asking people to refrain from walking on the lawn. What about the fence around the new grass planted where the old library stood? Many at USU are concerned with the destruction of our campus landscape. I myself got a talking to just this morning for cutting a corner on the way to class. No, I wasn’t accused of “commiting a little sin,” but that doesn’t change the issue much. Wishing for more accurate and less biased reporting of facts,

Adam Webster
