• The USU Independent Music Club will be hosting a free screening of a film documenting the work of local indie rock trio Bang Bang You’re Dead, October 19, 8 p.m. TSC Auditorium. There will also be live music from members of the Independent Music Club.
• The Ecology Center is pleased to announce the visit of Dr. Jonathan Chase, a professor of biology at Washington University, St. Louis. The first seminar Dr. Chase will be give October 18, 6-7 p.m. “Ecological drift versus niche-selection: How do communities assemble?” The second seminar, Thursday, October 19, 3-4 p.m. “Food webs in time and space” Both seminars will be in Natural Resources building, 105. • Fall Harvest Fest that will be held Saturday, October 14, the last day of the Cache Valley Gardeners’ Market. Free pumpkins and pumpkin painting, face painting, trick or treat booth-to-booth, make magic wands, free cider and cookies, cookie decorating, dress in costume, play games, win prizes. Special musical guests: WAY WAY EAST BAY. The Market is held from 9am to 1pm at Pioneer Park, located at 100 S. and 200 E. in downtown Logan.
