Let’s discuss the real issue
Dear Editor, I really think that this issue about marriage between gays and lesbians has nothing to do with ethnicity. This is why I am so shocked that the debate keeps on being thrown to Gays being treated like blacks. For one thing, nobody stops a gay person from eating at a restraint, or from coming to school, or from voting. Every night when a gay person goes to sleep, they do not have to worry about there house window being bricked. No matter what ethnicity you belong to we all have the same rights. We have the right to bare arms, the right to free religion and ect. Oh, and yes we all have the same right to marry a person from the opposite sex. It is true this state did at one point practice polygamy. Do polygamists have the same right to practice it today?????? You might as well be a polygamists, Oh I feel picked on because I can’t marry two wives’s, or what about incest??? I love my daughter, she loves me, I am being picked on. No this debate is not about race, or minorities, it is about morals. Most people agree that polygamy is morally wrong, just as most people agree that incest is morally wrong. A lot of people agree that allowing gays and lesbians to marry is morally wrong. I have friends that are gay, but still the union of marriage is morally right to be between a man and a woman.
