This Saturday is the first race of the Big Blue Race Series, as Ca.m.pus Recreation will be hosting a Beginner Triathalon at 10 a.m. Patricipants should be at least an hour early to set up and sign up. How many aggies do you know that have swa.m. 300 yards jumped on a bike and biked eight miles through Logan and North Logan’s scenic view followed up by a 5-K ca.m.pus run around USU? $10 for current students and $20 for everyone else. Come sign up at the HPER any time before 9 a.m. Saturday, and bring a helmet. Questions?Come to the HPER and ask the staff at the Service Desk.
A wedding planning event with vendors of every kind that can help with all aspects of your special event on Saturday, Sept. 17. Admission is free and parking is available in the terrace. Thousands of Dollars in prizes will be given away. Fashions shows will be at noon and 2:30 p.m.. Come anytime from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m..
National Strea.m. Clean-up Day unites volunteers across the nation in efforts to care for local strea.m.s and waterways. On Sept 17 meet at 9 a.m. at First Da.m. Park to remove litter from high-use areas of the Logan River. Bring friends. Give something back to the river. Your help is needed.
Are you interested in the health occupations as a career? Students hoping to apply to medical, dental, pharmacy, PA, Physical Therapy, Optometry, Podiatry, etc. must plan carefully and be involved in extracurricular activities throughout their undergraduate years. This Orientation on Sept 19th and 20th will discuss how to begin this process.

Sept. 16 Two of the most a.m.azing female singer/guitarists in Cache Valley will perform from 6-8 p.m. at Pier 49 San Francisco Style Sourdough Pizza. Keiyana Osmond will perform first, followed by Cherish Ross. Take an evening to come and enjoy these talented musical artists. Everyone is invited.
Sept. 17 Acoustic oldies group Relic will perform live from 6-8 p.m. at Pier 49 San Francisco Style Sourdough Pizza. This is a great sounding group! Many people in the valley have heard The Fender Benders classic rock band. Loaves & Fishes Community Meal Sept. 17 from 11 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Held at First Presbyterian Church, 12 S. 200 West, Logan.
Everyone is welcome, free of charge, to join us for a delicious meal and a chance to meet new friends. This meal is non-denominational and is sponsored by various local organizations as a way to bring people of all backgrounds together in friendship and service.
