Friday, Oct. 22, 2004
* USU Police responded to the Nelson Fieldhouse on a report of disorderly conduct. Police made contact with an individual that refused to leave the premises due to not obeying Fieldhouse policies.
* USU Police were dispatched to the USU Trailer Court on a report of four young girls sitting in the roadway making vehicles drive around them. The complainant had asked them to move, but they refused. Upon police arrival, the girls had left the roadway and were standing on the sidewalk.
* Police responded to the Distribution Building on a fire alarm. An employee was popping popcorn in an air popcorn maker that activated the alarm. The alarm was silenced and reset without any further problems. Sunday, Oct. 24, 2004
* USU Police responded to the report of three loud explosions. It was determined that three dry ice bombs exploded. No one was injured and police are investigating.
* USU Police assisted the Cache County Sheriff’s Office in locating a USU employee that could assist in rounding up horses that possibly got loose from the American West Heritage Center.
* USU Police assisted North Park Police in the arrest of an Aggie Village resident for theft. The individuals was transported and booked into the Cache County Jail by USU Police.
Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2004
* USU Police responded to the Jones Hall parking lot for a suspicious incident involving a rust colored pickup with an older driver. When Police arrived, the pickup had left the scene.
Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2004
* USU Police responded to Merrill Hall for a fire alarm. A resident set off the fire alarm by spraying air freshener under the detector. The detector was cleaned and the alarm was reset.
* USU Police responded to the Stadium parking lot for a traffic accident. The accident involved a driver-less vehicle in motion striking a parked vehicle. A report was filed with USU Police.
Thursday, Oct. 28, 2004
* Police responded to 800 E. 1000 North to direct traffic for a university bus that had stalled. Police waited for tow truck to come and remove the bus from the intersection and then left the scene. There was no further action taken.
