LETTER: ‘Handouts’ in a different light

Editor,

With all the talk of why minorities don’t need handouts I wanted to bring up another valid argument. Has anyone actually looked at the plans for the construction on campus? Preposterous! It is the only word that comes to mind. It is just the liberal thing to do, make a minority even weaker. It is already a “widely known” fact that liberals claim that minorities, especially African Americans, are innately inferior and therefore need preferential treatment. Giving handicap people preferential treatment by placing even more handicap ramps and handicap parking on campus is only creating a facade which handicap people can hide behind. The facade is only making them weaker by creating a widespread mentality that they can be lazy.

Two of the most common ways liberals are accomplishing spreading this mentality is by putting handicap ramps and parking in place. Handicap parking is a detriment to society. Why should people that have to use their legs to get around have to park farther away? It is the liberal belief that handicap people “need” to park closer to buildings to make their quality of life better. In reality it is only making them lazy. Let’s see, a chair with wheels, that sounds pretty plush to me. It is only teaching them that they can be lazy and that if they are lazy they can get all the same benefits as hard working people.

Only the handicap people themselves can break free from the chains and bondage which the liberals have placed on their daily lives. If you feel down about your situation, “Let us judge you by your character!” Crawl and drag yourself to freedom! Refuse the handouts and then only will you be free.
