LETTER: Online dating service needed

I propose that Utah State implement an online dating service. ASUSU could sponsor it. They already do a great job running the book exchange. The dating service could be set up as a message board. Students could post messages describing themselves and others could respond. Perhaps there could be private and public messages.

The service would allow more students to get to know one another. It would be a good way for new students and shy students to find new friends and possible dates. I’m sure there are volunteers who would be willing to maintain and monitor the service. So what do you think? Is a dating service a good idea?
