Friday, Oct. 1, 2004
* USU Police responded to the Experimental Farm on a report of several juveniles climbing over the fence into the property. Police searched the area but did not find anyone.
* USU Police responded to a fire alarm at the Lyric Theater. On arrival, it was discovered that the lighting director had been using a smoke machine, that was blowing into the smoke detector. The technician did not know there was a smoke detector in the room.
Saturday, Oct. 2, 2004
* USU Police responded to a traffic accident in the West Stadium Parking Lot. A bus backed into a vehicle and caused about $100 damage. However, there were no injuries reported at that time.
Sunday, Oct. 3, 2004
* USU Police responded to an agency assist at the Sigma Nu House due to a fire that was burning in their backyard firepit. Logan City Fire Department made contact with the residents in regards to what they can and cannot burn.
Monday, Oct. 4, 2004
* USU Police received a complaint of a disorderly woman and vehicle in the COM-D parking lot. The suspect rammed a parking vehicle and another vehicle in the process of fleeing the area. The driver was later located and charges are pending.
* USU Police responded to a report of a theft of a laptop computer at the Edith Bowen Laboratory School. A teacher left her computer in one of the classrooms, and when she returned the laptop was gone. Police are investigating.
Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2004
* USU Police responded to the Junction within two minutes of a report of a male individual shouting at another male individual. Police made contact with a man who had been loudly venting his frustrations to his friend. The man was cautioned about the noise.
Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2004
* USU Police responded to the Old Main Building on a report of two stray cats living inside an electrical room. Animal control was called to the scene and they caught the cats and impounded them. The cats were taken to Cache Meadows Veterinary Clinic.
* USU Police responded to the Fine Arts Building on the report of someone skateboarding on the ramps in the building. Police made contact with two individuals. One skateboard was impounded.
