Saturday, Sept. 18
USU Police received a report of prowlers in the area of the Stadium. USU Police responded to 750 E. 800 North to assist Logan City Police at a house party. Several individuals were cited by USU and Logan City Police for minor in possession of alcohol.
Monday, Sept. 20
USU responded to a delayed theft report at the Merill Library. A hard drive was stolen out of one of the computers on the fourth floor of the building. Police are investigating. USU Police responded within three minutes to the second level of the Parking Terrace for a welfare check on two small children that were left unattended in a vehicle. Police made contact with the individual who owned the vehicle and warned her how dangerous it was to leave her children unattended.Tuesday, Sept. 21 USU Police responded to Jones Hall for a fire alarm. The alarm was caused by burnt butter. The room was cleared of smoke and the alarm was reset. During a routine traffic stop on a vehicle that had no rear plate lamps, USU Police arrested an individual who had a warrant. The individual was cited for expired registration and was later arrested and booked into the Cache County Jail.
Wednesday, Sept. 22
USU Police responded to the R3 parking lot to assist a parking enforcement officer with an individual who was attempting to remove a boot from the tire of his vehicle.
