COLUMN: Get ready to catch Aggie basketball fever
Hello Aggie fans! Utah State basketball season is finally here. Now is the time to really show your Aggie spirit and help cheer on this year’s team. Show just how much Aggie pride you have by wearing AGGIE BLUE!
We need to help Head Coach Stew Morrill’s dream come true, by filling the orange seats with Aggie blue.
What could be more intimidating to an opposing team than a sea of blue?
Be the true blue fan by showing up before the game starts, not when it is well into the second half.
With the new scoreboard, pre-game will be more entertaining than ever.
Bring your megaphones and posters – anything you can think of to show your support for the team.
When visiting teams have introductions let’s all turn our backs to the floor and establish a new Aggie tradition.
Let’s help cheer on our team to another championship year by clapping in unison while the opposing team has the ball. We could even begin chanting “defense” with the USU spirit squads.
Learn the words to our “Fight Song,” as well as the “Scotsman”. Stand up and sing, yell, clap – show your enthusiasm.
What better way to show that the Aggies dominate the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum? Let’s be sure the message is not mistaken.
Want a chance to prove yourself as No. 1 Aggie fan? Be the loudest and the one wearing the most blue and you could win the best seats in the house as you enjoy watching the game from “the couch” located just below the student section.
Catch the Aggie fever as this year’s basketball team prepares for yet another championship. Let’s make this season a winning one!
